There is a certain notion attached to public figure who dabble into new
creative territory. You can't be an actor, a rock star and a artist. Well, yes,
you can. Multi talented Shruti Haasan inherited and gained expertise in all of
them due to the freedom given by his dad Lokanayakudu Kamal Haasan.
Shruti Haasan not many know has propensity for the brush. She loves to draw/ paint whenever she gets time off on the sets. Shruti apparently loves exploring her dark side by putting on paper heavy gothic, punk, rock influence in her art. Interesting to note about this side of Shruti isn't it?
As of 2014, Shruti has completed work for Gabbar opposite Akshay Kumar and is currently shooting for 3 films in Bollywood, Anees Bazmee's comedy Welcome Back starring John Abraham, Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar; Tigmanshu Dhulia's drama Yaara opposite Vidyut Jamwal, Irrfan Khan and Rocky Handsome starring John Abraham. In Telugu she has Kortala Shiva's untitled project and Vijay 58 in Tamil.
