The Telugu Film Industry is yet to come to terms with the untimely
passing away of businessman-film producer and grand son of veteran actor NTR
Nandamuri Janakiram. 38-year-old Janakiram was contemplating to start his own
company in Kakinada and had been a regular commuter from Hyderabad to Kakinada
via Vijayawada on road. Janakiram was said to be a careful driver and had never
met with any accidents - be it either minor or major. The fatal road accident
took place on Saturday at Nalgonda was said to be his first accident that
claimed his life.
Janakiram is survived by wife, a son Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao (NTR) and a daughter. Janakiram's son NTR already made his acting debut with children's film Dana Veera Shura Karna. It's reported that Janakiram took special interest and encouraged his son into film industry. With his father's support, Taraka Ramarao also gained keen interest in acting. Janakiram was always supporting his son towards acting as acting is running in the Nandamuri family. While preparations are under way to launch Taraka Ramarao as full-fledged actor, Janakiram's death has come as a major blow to the family.
