Huge profits for Pawan and Venky

It is reliably learnt that Pawan Kalyan has received his share of remuneration from the profits reaped by the movie 'Gopala Gopala'. As the flick has done exceptionally well in the Sankranthi season amassing more than 40+ crores share in Andhra and Telangana itself, insiders revealed how the star heroes have cut the pie to distribute the bounty.

Though producer Suresh Babu has kept silent about sharing the box office figures of Pawan, Venky starrer Gopala Gopala, trade circles have left the accounts book open. From the film's profits, Pawan Kalyan got a whopping share of 15 crores as his remuneration, while his friend Sharath Marar, a producer of the flick, got 5 crores. Coming to Venky, he will be walking away with 6.5 crores of share as part of his pay packet.

Both Pawan and Venky have decided to take remuneration for the film only from profits and this is what profits paid them, says a source in the know. Suresh Babu has however remained tight lipped about these sharing of revenues and reaping of profits. Into its 13th day of run at box office, Gopala Gopala witnessed huge drops post Sankranthi season, but collections are steady.

Trade experts feel that both Gopala Gopala and I would have become industry hits had they got such blockbuster response. "Gopala Gopala would have easily amassed 50 crore share if it has got unanimous hit talk. Similarly I would have touched 120 crores share by now across the globe", an analyst said. Probably, Jr NTR's "Temper" missed this wonderful full-potential season. Otherwise he would have scored a career-best hit. 

More screens to join for benefit show of Gopala Gopala

The excitement is in the air, and huge arrangements are being made for the release of Gopala Gopala. Apart from the record number of screens reserved for the movie, a huge line up of benefit shows are being planned all across the state. As many as 5 theaters are right now in the fray to screen the movie in the early hours of 10th, many more theaters could be joining the list.

Popular single screen theaters in Hyderabad like Vishwanath, Sriramulu, Vijetha, Mallikarjuna and Bhramarambha have already begun taking bookings for the benefit shows. The tickets are priced from Rs.300 to 1000, and there is a huge buzz to get hold of a ticket.

Power Star Pawan Kalyan and Victory Venkatesh are getting ready to take in record openings in a day’s time with their movie ‘Gopala Gopala’, which is all set for a release tomorrow.

Expectations from the film are sky high and fans are waiting eagerly for the film. With GG being the only Telugu release this Sankranthi and things not looking very pleasant for ‘I’ on the financial front, advantage is with this big multi starrer.

Pawan congratulated for Gopala Gopala's Temper tune?

Many may wonder about the connection between family oriented Gopala Gopala starring Venkatesh and Pawan Kalyan, which is a remake of Hindi hit Oh My God and powerful mass entertainer of NTR's Temper directed by Puri Jagannath.

However sources say Gopala Gopala is showing its 'Temper'. Filmnagar is abuzz with talk that Gopala Gopala is singing Temper tune. Everyone is currently floored by 'Bhaje Bhaje' song tuned by Anup Rubens in Gopala Gopala.

According to insiders, Anup actually scored the tune for Young Tiger NTR's Temper directed by Puri Jagannath. However NTR and Puri didn't like it and they rejected the tune.

Anup used the same track for Gopala Gopala which Venkatesh and Pawan Kalyan instantly loved it. Not only that Pawan Kalyan called Anup and congratulated him. He also asked Anup to score music for his next film. 

Gopala Gopala Release date confirmed

Finally, much awaited release date of Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh's multi-starrer 'Gopala Gopala' got confirmed. After lot of dilly dallying, producer Suresh Babu has finally fixed January 9th as the big day, which was earlier supposed to be the day that would see Jr NTR's 'Temper' hitting cinemas. After publicizing this date for two months, NTR has withdrawn from the race due to obvious reasons.

Playing Lord Krishna on silver screen for the first time, Pawan Kalyan will be seen in a 20 minute cameo in the movie that happens to be remake of Hindi flick 'Oh My God'. As Shankar's action-fantasy 'I' is hitting screens on January 14th, seems like Gopala Gopala got advanced to this new date. Huge expectations are riding on this flick as theatrical rights are sold for a whopping 45 crores nearly across the globe.

Huge betting on Gopala Gopala

Gopala Gopala audio and release dates?

If highly reliable sources are to be believed, the audio launch of Pawan Kalyan's Gopala Gopala has been postponed once again. Contrary to reports that the audio would be unveiled on January 1, latest buzz indicates that the audio release would take place on January 3 (Saturday). Since the makers are stuck with the shooting of the song that would be wrapped up on Wednesday, producers Suresh Babu and Sharrath Marrar are planning to release audio on 3rd.

As reported earlier, Ramanaidu Cine Village in Nanakramguda would be the venue for the grand event. In fact, Venkatesh-Mahesh Babu starrer Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu audio launch was also held at the same place. Since Gopala Gopala has Pawan and Venky in the leads, same tradition would be followed.

However, there is no clarity on the release date of the film. The movie would be either be released on Jan 9 and if it fails to come on Jan 9, it'd come on Jan 14. Buzz is that Suresh Babu is planning to advance the film's release to have an edge over Shankar's I. Suresh is of the opinion that since Pawan and Venky are so popular and no need of additional publicity, he has plans up his sleeve to advance the movie to Jan 9. But the big hurdle for Jan 9 release would be the Censor Board clearance.
