Response for the film is outpouring

It's common knowledge by now that Baahubali mania has gripped the Telugu-speaking people across the globe. Especially movie goers are going gaga over Baahubali tickets at the cinemas and many people are lined up at the marquee to catch a glimpse of the film. Given its hype, craze and buzz surrounding it, lot of people want to watch the film on the day 1 or day 2. Naturally with this there is huge demand for the tickets and distributors, producer unable to meet the demand.

What's more disturbing is that few frenzied movie goers are breaking into theatres and even attempting to damage theatre furniture when the tickets have not been available. No doubt their anger is justified but the act of violence is definitely not justifiable and it's not fair at all. "They have waited for three long years. Can't they wait for three more days? " asked a well-known distributor in Andhra Pradesh where the response for the film is outpouring.

Baahubali: Will police give permission for Royal rally on July 10th

To mark the arrival of Prabhas Varma as Baahubali and Sivudu on July 10th seems like his fans from native Bhimavaram are planning some exorbitant stuff. That includes a rally, which is first of its kind, as it looks more like a Royal Procession than just a rally by a crazy bunch of fans.

Reports are coming out that two elephants, fifty horses and 100 Royal Enfield bullet bikes along with nearly a thousand of Prabhas fans will be rallying on the roads of town on Baahubali release day. All this looks possible to organise, but what matters is the safety and security issue. With as many 50 horses and two elephants strolling on the streets, it will be tough to control the animal if something goes haywire. It will be a big surprise to see Police giving permission for this rally just in case.

Some sources revealed that police asked the organisers to limit their count to 5 horses and completely keep the idea of elephants aside in case they want to go ahead with the procession. Let's wait for more updates.

KTR, you stole the hearts man

Couple of days back, few Film Nagar folks have pointed out the plight of one Nagayya who acted as  poor grandpa in Allu Arjun's "Vedam" movie. He was seen begging on the roads of Film Nagar and everyone felt that governments of both AP and Telangana should respond over this. Also they felt even Telugu Film Industry and Movie Artists Association should come to his rescue.

During the #AskKTR session a couple of days back, few film lovers have taken the issue of Vedam Nagayya to T-CM's son KTR and he asked them to provide his contact details. And then, the Telangana IT Minister responds like a true leader.

"Met 'Siricilla Ramulu' aka Nagaiah Garu today. Handed over Rs.1 lakh as assistance from my side. Also arranged for old age artist pension through Government. Spoke to Rajendra Prasad, president of MAA to assist him. Nagaiah incidentally is native of Guntur", said KTR, after handing over the cheque.

One word for him says Film Lovers, "KTR, you stole the hearts man"

Responding on this, actor-producer Lakshmi Manchu said, "Hats off ram. I am so happy with all the work you are doing. Been following your work religiously. This gesture took my breath away"

Is Allu Arjun following Bollywood Heroes

Among the big producers we have, Allu Arvind has impeccable track record of investing his paisas wisely. Whenever he makes a big budgeted flick, he makes sure that the content, budget and return doesn't go haywire. His latest idea of producing Bunny's movie is being dubbed as another such strategic move.

Did Arvind took a clue from star Bollywood heroes like Shahrukh Khan and Akshay Kumar and emulating their style for his son? Seems yes. Success of Race Gurram and S/o Satyamurthy have pushed Allu Arjun into a big league and producers are queueing up to make movies with him. Keeping all of them in the waiting, Bunny is working on his own banner Geetha Arts with dad Arvind. We hear that this is a clear strategy of getting more money out of the investment.

In Bollywood, big heroes don't collect pay checks from their producers but they produce their movies themselves. With so much confidence in the subject, heroes like Shahrukh are spending nearly 40-50 crores on their films themselves, and in turn earning 150+ crores on each movie. If Bunny and his dad too invest 30-40 crores around their project and make a fantabulous film, then 20-25 crores will fall in profits. Should we now say that Arvind is making sure that his son gets 25 crores in return from the film rather taking just 10 crores remuneration and working?

Insiders say that Arvind has all reasons from now onwards to make movies with Bunny. Probably other big heroes might follow the same suit. But there are cons of this side too. If a film fails, then hero's hard earned investment will be in trouble.

Hunk hero is her brother

It takes guts to play the brother of dazzling world class diva Aishwarya Rai, as her aura of a beauty queen doesn't allow any man to do such. But this hunk hero worries only about the justice he could do script rather of the feeling that he will be seen as her brother.

Director Omung Kumar of Mary Kom movie fame has finally found the lead casting for his next flick "Sarbjit" that revolves around the life of innocent Indian farmer Sarabjit Singh who spent all of his lifetime in Pakistan jails under the accusations of a spy before getting killed in an ambush between inmates. Basing on the revelations made by Sarabjit's sister Dalbir Kaur, a biopic is being made where Aishwarya Rai will be seen as Dalbir Kaur and the one who's playing Sarabjit is none other than hunk hero Randeep Hooda.

With moves like Highway and recently Kick in his kitty, Randeep is the most sought after handsome actor in Bollywood. His methodic acting and realistic performances won him appreciation from all quarters. But the actor says he has no qualms playing brother of Aishwarya Rai because this happens to be a biopic. With his addition, surely the story of Sarabjit will be revealed to the world honestly.

Prince movie depending huge on it

Continuing with the trend of low budget flicks, yet another interesting film, ‘Where is Vidya Balan’ is gearing up for a release on June 26th. Starring Prince and Jyothi Sethi as the lead pair, this film has quite an interesting concept.

According to the latest reports, comedy quotient is said to be the major highlight of this comic caper. The film has already completed its censor formalities and has obtained an ‘A’ certificate.

Sapatagiri, Sampoornesh Babu and Rao Ramesh play other important characters in this film which is produced by L Venugopal Reddy, Lakshmi Narasimha Reddy and Alluri Chiranjeevi.

Will Sreesanth get a chance to romance these Heroines

Controversial cricketer Sreesanth is all set for his Telugu debut and he's essaying the role of cricketer in the movie that majorly focuses on the off-field life of a player.  The latest is that hunt is on for the leading lady of the film and the makers are negotiating to have well-known heroine opposite Sreesanth.

Reason behind "Srimanthudu" Postpone

The moment "Srimanthudu" producer announced that they are shifting the release date of their film from July 17th to August 7th, a section of critics and trade experts have started blaming them of telling lies. Some big trade pundits and media folks shared that "Srimanthudu" moved a step back only because of pressure from distributors of movie.

"Srimanthudu distributors wanted to back out from the release if the producers don't change release date. That's why Mahesh's makers have postponed. Pushing the blame on Baahubali producers is silly", said a trade expert, after listening to Mythri Makers producers. This triggered a sort of war online with Mahesh fans expressing their displeasure over the happenings and Prabhas fans claiming that 'Mahesh feared Baahubali'. Not anymore, because producer Shobhu Yarlagadda spoke himself to clarify what has happened.

"Baahubali release date is not only compelled by post production works but also by our buyers and distributors across four languages", said Shobhu, explaining why they are sticking to July 10th. Coming to Srimanthudu date shift issue, he said, "I met Srimanthudu producers some time back and explained our situation. I requested them to consider moving their release date if possible. We thank Srimanthudu Producers, Director and Mahesh Babu for understanding and maintaining a healthy relationship in the industry". That explains what has really happened.

This postponement and Shobu's clarification is neither Prabhas fans victory nor Mahesh fans victory. Egos of fans don't collect 100s of crores for a movie, but proper placement, date and release will fetch returns on the investment. Good job, Baahubali and Srimanthudu teams!!

pushing train?

Usually, we might have come across the incidents of people pushing a car, bus or a two-wheeler. But pushing the train might be something unheard of - at least to many. In one such bizarre incident, passengers of a train are forced to push the train to start it. The incident took place at Ramdas ghati in Gwalior and it was narrow-gauge train. The passengers of Kailaras-Sabalgarh train were asked to push it when its engine got overheated and came to a halt for an hour. Later the passengers had to slog it out to move the locomotive.

However, It's not the passengers of the train alone who suffered but the locals too bore the brunt as the train stopped in a middle of the route passing through a road. Due to the malfunction of the engine, the passengers as well as the passersby had to wait for an hour and finally after an hour the train was pushed and headed again towards its destination. That's the story folks.

Pawan is miffed with Suresh Babu

Pawan Kalyan is reportedly falling out with producer Suresh Babu. Reports have it that Pawan is miffed with Suresh Babu over their recent joint production venture Gopala Gopala. It's buzzed that injustice is meted out to Pawan's friend-close aide Sharat Marrar who co-produced Gopala Gopala with Suresh. While rumours are rife that the duo is falling out in the share of revenue, publicity campaign, and other financial issues, Pawan tried to intervene and asked Suresh to settle the issue amicably.

With no apparent positive response from Suresh, Pawan and Sharat said to have miffed. Adding to the woes, the movie failed to rake in moolah in few centres bringing losses to distributors. Now distributors after producers Suresh and Sharath. The way this episode was dealt by Suresh also doesn't seem to gone well with Pawan's camp. On other hand, Suresh camp is also miffed with Pawan for causing delay to shoots.

Now, Pawan said to have decided to not to work with Suresh Babu again. Although there were talks of casting in Pawan again in a Suresh production movie, Pawan scrapped the proposal following the severe differences with Suresh Babu. On whole, two biggies Pawan and Suresh seem to have locked horns.

Rajasekhar: I'd like to screen the film specially for Chiru

Actor Rajasekhar and Mega Star Chiranjeevi might had locked horns with each other. But that phase is passe. Both the stars said to have ditched their differences and moving on amicably. In an attempt to take their friendship to new high, hero Rajasekhar is now contemplating to screen special show of his Gaddam Gang to Chiranjeevi. "I'd like to invite Chiranjeevi for the premiere of Gaddam Gang and I'd also love to invite other heroes. If Chiru is interested, I'd like to screen the film specially," said Rajasekhar.

Touted to be the remake of Tamil superhit "Soodhu Kavvum", Rajasekhar is pinning high hopes on the film. After a long hiatus, Rajasekhar is expecting that the film will set cash registers ringing at Box Office considering the super-fun element in it.

Will Sampoornesh end up like Vinayakudu?

Immense promotion on social network with unique creative campaign makes anyone a hero. If there are doubts, then you could get them clarified from hero Sampoornesh Babu who became a rage after his debut flick 'Hrudaya Kaleyam'. Of late, a feeling started to arise among cinema lovers that this 'Burning Star' will also burn out like our Fat star.

Do you remember the fatso yet cute hero Krishnudu? He became a overnight sensation and household name after scoring  a brownie with the movie "Vinayakudu". Unlike Sampoo's debut flick that evinced no interest, Krishnudu got a stardom after the movie as al obese-guys started identifying themselves in him. However all those praises by star directors, media biggies and co-stars remained praises and he is now picking up just 1 day and 2 day kind of roles. Recently we have seen him with Victory Venkatesh as his assistant in Gopala Gopala in a minuscule role.

Rather planning his career in a right way, if Sampoornesh too feels exited for the 'praises' doled out by co-stars and biggies, soon he may see the world like our Krishnudu. Hope Sampoo will not commit such mistake and get into that fix!!!
