darkness might send you into a tizzy of trouble and problems but here we are
talking in a rather literal way. Yes, in what can be called as the first time
in the history of Tollywood, a film has been made which runs entirely in night
backdrop. We are talking about the movie 'Surya vs Surya' which has the vibrant
hero Nikhil Siddhartha in the lead.
According to inside reports, the entire movie has been shot in darkness and since some parts of the shooting had to be done during the day, the shooting floors at Annapurna Studios were taken for hire and they were covered with clothes so that sunlight and illumination doesn't arrive. Every measure was taken to ensure that the viewer gets a night feeling while watching the film.
Even some outdoor scenes were canned in midnight and the makers ensured the entire movie is made in darkness. The shooting is in the closing stages and this marks the debut of cinematographer Karthik Ghattamaneni as the director. The film also has the talented actor Tanikella Bharani essaying an important role. But whether the movie is a thriller, comedy or horror is suspense for now.
