Aiming at a January 23rd release, Nandamuri Kalyanram's Pataas is
getting everything ready. Clearing the Censor formalities, the movie has bagged
'A' certificates after getting all the suggested cuts done. That makes the film
not watchable for people under 18 years of age, especially kids, though the
rule is not getting implemented strictly anyway.
Majority of the cuts suggested for the movie happen to be change or muting of dialogues. As Kalyanaram's family is inclined towards one party in politics, Censor Officials made sure that no dialogue having political reference is retained in the flick. On the other hand, glamorous treat hasn't got cut as producers decided to go with 'A' certificate.
Pataas will be hitting cinemas on January 23rd in more than 700 theatres as per the trade talk. With already released Pongal releases had a chance of getting staled by then, and no big competition around, Kalyanaram is expected to score a commercial hit this time. Can you think he can?, Hope so.
