It is being said that Shankar's team is taking all the care to protect the privacy of the director and the script writer and popular Tamil novelist B Jeyamohan. B Jeyamohan earlier teamed up with top directors like Mani Ratnam and Bala.

Though many feel that Shankar wouldn't venture out making the film without Rajinikanth, latest reports are also saying that Shah Rukh Khan might be roped in to play a negative role.
