From a long
time, the possible collaboration between Superstar Rajnikanth and versatile
director Shankar is on the cards. There is buzz that these two stars who have
earlier delivered movies like Sivaji and Robo are now mulling over the idea of
delivering a sequel to their science-fiction film. Robo 2 is on cards, but
what's the missing piece here?
Buzz has that Shankar is unable to find out a suitable villain for somehow. Earlier they tried for the likes of Bollywood heroes like Shahrukh Khan, but that didn't work out. Later some other popular heroes including Amir Khan and couple of south stars are approached, but everyone backed out. Vikram's name is the latest one to be heard in this connection. Here, this talented hero of I and Aparichitudu is having no qualms to do a negative role but his dates are said to be not flexible. Already he has given two years for 'I' earlier, so he wants to do series of movies without break at the moment.
Shankar feels that regular villains will not work out for Robo 2 for the kind of magnanimity this film is going to portray. But big star heroes are having their own reasons to walk out of the flick. As the idea using Rajnikanth Vs Rajnikanth was already explored in Robo earlier, Shankar can't repeat the same. Hope at least some star doesn't gives empty hand to our Superstar.
