Directed by: SS Rajamouli
Produced by: Prasad Devineni, Sobhu Yarlaga

Music by: MM Keeravani
Release Date: 2015-07-10

Bahubali released amidst unprecedented hype and expectations. This Rajamouli's folklore drama garnered the eyeballs nationwide with some mindboggling visual effects. Touted to be the India's biggest motion picture Bahubali raised so many expectations just because of Rajamouli's brand. With more than 150 crores riding on the film everyone is expecting nothing short of a classic out of it. Did Rajamouli deliver? Did Bahubali live up to the humongous expectations?

What is it about?

Ballaladeva (Rana), a cruel king is ruling the kingdom called Maahishmathi, where the people are tortured by his men. He takes Devasena (Anushka) as captive after killing her husband. Devasena lives with the hope that her son Shivudu (Prabhas) would return to put an end to the evil deeds of Ballaladeva. Grown up in a tribal area far away from Mahishmathi, Shivudu comes to rescue Devasena in order to fulfill the wish of his girlfriend Avantika (Tamanna). But people of Mahishmathi sees Baahubali (Prabhas) in him. Rest of the film is about Baahubali's past.

Performances:

Prabhas:

Prabhas played dual roles in this film and has worked hard to show the difference in his looks and physique. His lean and athletic build as Shivudu is superb and the bulky build to suit Bahubali character is phenomenal. This shows the dedication of the actor. His performance is good but should have worked a bit on the diction.

Rana:

Rana is a revelation in the role of Ballala Deva. He should consider himself lucky for bagging this role that has scope for exhibiting various emotions. He has done a superb job as the antagonist and surely one of the major plus points in this film.

Anushka and Tamanna:

Anushka has a limited screen time in this part but she made an impact with power packed performance. Tamanna plays the glam doll and she is alright.

Ramyakrishna and Others:

The standout performance in Bahubali - The Beginning comes from the ace actress Ramya Krishna, who just outshines everybody with her stellar act. Mamatala Talli song sequence shot on her is one of the best moments in this film. Satya Raj as Kattappa is good. Sudeep did a cameo. Sesh Adivi, Rohini and Tanikella Bharani are adequate.

Technicalities:

Rajamouli:

Rajamouli is perhaps the only Telugu director who always aims to push the envelope. A film of this scale wouldn't have been possible without a director like Rajamouli. His vision and imagination are instrumental in taking our cinema to whole new level in terms of technical brilliance. There are some magical 'Rajamouli' kind of moments in the film that masses would go frenzy. But the problem with Bahubali lies in its script that is unnecessarily stretched out. Rajamouli fails to get the emotions right in this film, might be because of the story being divided into two parts.

Keeravani:

Keeravani's music is just okay. There is nothing exceptional about it. Keeravani usually stores his best for Rajamouli's films. But he has hardly impressed in Bahubali even with the background score. Songs are alright but not as appealing as we expect them to be.

Senthil and Others:

Senthil's cinematography is splendid. He and art director Sabu have brought the imaginary world of Rajamouli to life. Visual effects are great. Probably the best ever in an Indian film. Action episodes are done well. Peter Haynes deserves a pat for his awesome work in that breathtaking war episode. Producers have a big heart and nerves of steel for sure. A project like Bahubali needs passionate producers and Rajamouli is lucky to find these gentlemen.

Thumbs Up:

Visual Effects

Rana

Ramya Krishna

War Episode

Thumbs Down:

Uneven Screenplay

Stretched out Sequences

Abrupt Ending

Analysis:

Baahubali - The Beginning delivers what it promises. It is a visual feast with the art, camera and vfx departments working hand in hand. Bahubali is truly a few notches above regular movies. It has maintained world class standards in terms of visual effects. This movie deserves a watch just for the hard work of the passionate team and also for those stunning visuals.

Sadly there is nothing more to Bahubali besides the visual extravaganza. It has a beaten to death revenge plot that has been stretched out with some absolutely ridiculous scenes that doesn't help the movie in anyway. For instance Avanthika and Shivudu's romantic track is pretty lame and seems out of place. The movie takes an eternity to engage the viewers. Lackluster screenplay has to be blamed for it. We get to see the real Rajamouli's stamp only towards the interval sequence.

One would expect the film to raise the bar after Baahubali enters the scene. There is nothing that would connect with the audience as it seems like the director is passing time to end this so that he could have enough content for second part. War episode is visually wonderful but it is overlong and seems clumsy after a while. The biggest gripe of Baahubali is its abrupt ending that was inevitable. Rajamouli the genius filmmaker should have come up with far more pleasing climax so that the audience would have left the theaters with a satisfied feeling. A lot will depend upon how the masses react to this ending.

To put it bluntly Bahubali is Rajamouli's weakest script to date! However it is visually mind-boggling that we could excuse some of its shortcomings. Wish Rajamouli comes up with a packed script in the second part. On the box office front, Bahubali - The Beginning will surely shatter the records irrespective of its weak points.

Response for the film is outpouring

It's common knowledge by now that Baahubali mania has gripped the Telugu-speaking people across the globe. Especially movie goers are going gaga over Baahubali tickets at the cinemas and many people are lined up at the marquee to catch a glimpse of the film. Given its hype, craze and buzz surrounding it, lot of people want to watch the film on the day 1 or day 2. Naturally with this there is huge demand for the tickets and distributors, producer unable to meet the demand.

What's more disturbing is that few frenzied movie goers are breaking into theatres and even attempting to damage theatre furniture when the tickets have not been available. No doubt their anger is justified but the act of violence is definitely not justifiable and it's not fair at all. "They have waited for three long years. Can't they wait for three more days? " asked a well-known distributor in Andhra Pradesh where the response for the film is outpouring.

Almost all the big theatres screening Baahubali are experiencing a storm of crowds who want to grab Baahuabli ticket. Almost all the online websites that are selling tickets have got their servers crashed due to heavy traffic. Some sites aren't able to provide tickets with various other technical issues. Mahesh wrapped up his dubbing for the first half of Srimanthudu

Soon after completing the shoot, Srimanthudu team is busy with the post production activities. Already the talkie has been wrapped up and the dubbing work is currently in progress. The audio launch event will take place on the 18th of this month in Hyderabad.

As per the latest update, Mahesh Babu has completed the dubbing for the first part of this film. The film’s director Koratala Shiva is closely monitoring all the proceedings of post production activities. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, this film has Shruti Haasan as the leading lady. This film is slated for a massive release on August 7th.

123+ crores are needed to declare Baahubali as a Super Hit

The craze speaks for itself. But there is prodigious hard work that produced such a hype as the feast of visuals offered by "Baahubali" are just impeccable. This hard work however demanded a stunning business of 123+ crores in the form of theatrical rights and what happens to his investment is something we will know in the coming days.

Unofficial trade reports indicate that the whole Telugu theatrical rights for Andhra, Telangana and Overseas are sold out for nearly 91 crores by "Baahubali" producers. Tamil rights are shelled for 15 crores for Tamilnadu state alone while Tamil overseas distributors doled out nearly 4 crores for the rights. Hindi market though helped double the craze for the project, we hear that the theatrical rights fetched only 11 crores. Rajamouli's Malayalam entry is picked by 3 crores nearly by Mallu distributors. All in all, nearly 123 crores has to be recovered through 'shares' from the first part of "Baahubali", say trade analysts.

Apart from the 123 crore theatrical rights, we have satellite rights sold out already. Sources revealed that Telugu satellite fetched nearly 13 crores, while Tamil went for 8-10 crores and Hindi too fetched similar price. It's surprising that Hindi and Tamil folks have paid similar price for theatricals and satellite. Including all these figures, we have to say that nearly 155+ crores business has happened around this magnum opus.

Apart from scoring a blockbuster, the movie has to run consistently without opposition to pull every distributor and other businessmen to shores. Herculean task ahead.

Beautifull India

Rana: I miss my grandfather in this historic moment

July 10th marks the release of 'Baahubali' on silver screen. For Prabhas, Anushka and Tamanna, they have seen many big release in their careers and tasted blockbuster successes already though the magnanimity of this Rajamouli's creation is literally bigger than all of them. However things are quite new for Rana Daggubati, because this talented actor is yet to taste commercial success.

As Rana is quite confident that he is going to pull a bigger success with this mammoth movie, his thoughts are with his grandfather at the moment. This young actor feels that his grandpa, the legendary Ramanaidu would have felt proud not just watching his hard efforts but also the biggest motion picture ever made on Indian screen. Being a Guinness Record holder for making movies in many languages, this would have been a collar-rising moment for Ramanaidu because the industry where he made some golden films is coming out with this gigantic film. 'I miss my grandfather in this historic moment', says Rana.

Similar feelings are echoed by hero Nagarjuna when his father, the legendary ANR left this world all of a sudden, as cancer has eaten him away. Akkineni didn't get a chance to watch his last film 'Manam', where the three generations of Akkineni herores are featured. Hope all these golden idols of Telugu industry watch those films from heaven and bless cinema industry.

Only 30 - 40 page document for Baahubali

As the D-day coming closer to SS Rajamouli's masterpiece Baahubali and it's only three days left for its world-wide release, the auteur of visual wonders like Eega, Magadheera shares more about the magnum opus film which was under making for three-long years. Reacting to critic Rajeev Masand's compliment that he is visual story teller, Rajamouli said, "Not just in Eega, I try to convey as little as possible through dialogue in all my films. I'm firm believer that visual speaks more than dialogue. I try not to put story in dialogue. Dialogue is only there to convey very little. In fact, the whole dialogue script of Baahubali is 30-page or 40-page document. The film is more driven on emotion."

Talking about overcoming the obstacle of star presence, Rajamouli said, "I understand the stamina of having a star in the film. I've worked with stars on several projects. Having said that, even content is equally important. How many films were hit in Hindi in the last one year and how many of them were star-hero films? If you observe closely, most are content-based movies."

Rajamouli said that he has been wanting to make a Hindi film and he said he'd associate with Karan Johar for that project as well. "We're glad to associate with Karan Johar for Baahubali I and II. I hope to associate with him for my Hindi project as well."

Allu Arvind: special code printed as a watermark on the film "Baahubali"

Leading producer Allu Arvind has taken huge initiative of helping our "Baahubali" to crack whip on piracy doers.

In a candid revelation, the mega producer revealed how they got a Court order to control the Internet service providers in the case of a piracy. Praising the piracy cell heads and police, Arvind mentioned that they will bring all the perpetrators to justice in case if they catch any piracy prints of Baahubali doing rounds.

"More than anyone, theatre owners should take care of this piracy. If anyone shoots a film with a camera in any particular theatre, we would know about it immediately because of the special code printed as a watermark on the film", he says, adding on more biggest punch. "If we find any theatre itself involving in this piracy scam, no doubt that theatre will be banned for one year from screening films". Also Arvind mentioned the need for all Telugu people to take care of Baahubali, because it is the most prestigious film for Telugus. Seems like Arvind is taking all the burden to safeguard Baahubali from the crows that want to eat it away.

"It might sound bit exaggerated, but I'm in all senses to say, 'watching a film in piracy is like slashing mother's breast to sip milk. Don't do that" said Aravind. On the other hand, Rajamouli requested everyone to help them curb piracy. "Including theatres where piracy prints are being shot, all are members of film industry only. So, help us prevent piracy", Rajamouli said.

Mahesh's Srimanthudu Audio launch venue confirmed

Prince Mahesh Babu’s Srimanthudu is one of the most anticipated films of the season. The shooting part was wrapped up a couple of days ago and currently the post production works are going on at a brisk pace. As announced earlier, the audio launch event will take place on the 18th of this month.

As per the latest buzz, Shilpakala Vedika, the popular convention centre located in the heartland of Hyderabad, will host this grand event. Currently, the makers are overseeing the preparations for this event. Already the teaser, which released a few days back has augmented the hype of this film and fans are going gaga over Mahesh Babu’s stylish looks in the teaser.

Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, this movie is slated for a grand release on August 7th. Shruthi Haasan is playing the female lead and Koratala Shiva of Mirchi fame is the director.

Shankar is unable to find a suitable Villain for "Robo 2"

From a long time, the possible collaboration between Superstar Rajnikanth and versatile director Shankar is on the cards. There is buzz that these two stars who have earlier delivered movies like Sivaji and Robo are now mulling over the idea of delivering a sequel to their science-fiction film. Robo 2 is on cards, but what's the missing piece here?

Buzz has that Shankar is unable to find out a suitable villain for somehow. Earlier they tried for the likes of Bollywood heroes like Shahrukh Khan, but that didn't work out. Later some other popular heroes including Amir Khan and couple of south stars are approached, but everyone backed out. Vikram's name is the latest one to be heard in this connection. Here, this talented hero of I and Aparichitudu is having no qualms to do a negative role but his dates are said to be not flexible. Already he has given two years for 'I' earlier, so he wants to do series of movies without break at the moment.

Shankar feels that regular villains will not work out for Robo 2 for the kind of magnanimity this film is going to portray. But big star heroes are having their own reasons to walk out of the flick. As the idea using Rajnikanth Vs Rajnikanth was already explored in Robo earlier, Shankar can't repeat the same. Hope at least some star doesn't gives empty hand to our Superstar.

Ultra style NTR

Young Tiger NTR has changed a lot. Whether fans agree or not, these days he has bid adieu to his trademark curly hair and also not entertaining crowds with old-style dance movements. Looking at his previous film we could easily decode that he is insisting on huge changes when it comes to style and style-quotient. And this heart arresting scheme continues.

After blowing minds of bachelor girls in 'Temper', he has decided to up the style stakes further it seems. This time he's coming up with more arresting look. As he flaunts that new hairdo, very slim-cut on the sides and a side combed long-haired look on the top he has carved out for Sukumar's movie, it is just mind blowing. With that he has matched the energy of costumes and other styling stuff. Probably this is second punch from Tarak where his photo pulling a huge effect on fans. Earlier his shirtless avatar from Puri Jagan's movie has cast a magical spell similarly. All this looks like an intention to win more of lady and youth fanbases than his regular mass fans.

While Nandamuri fans and other mass-lovers always love to admire NTR in which every way he appears, but the likes of Mahesh, Allu Arjun, Prabhas and Gopichand do have loads of female fans. Because their styling and the way they project that classic-charisma is responsible for such fanism from opposite sex. Identifying the need to pull female fans and younger teens towards his side, now this Nandamuri lad is exploring new avenues. Good going man!!!

When will Rajamouli - Mahesh film start its shooting

When there is some small news, it gets exaggerated, decorated, inflated and finally blown out of proportions. Same thing happened with Rajamouli-Mahesh movie, as our creative director revealed an interesting thing the other day. While his revelation is just what was supposed to happen, people have written everything to everything from story to possible heroine of this flick. Not even giant media houses have tried to look into the bottom of Rajamouli's revelation.

The TRUTH:

When a noted Tamil journalist questioned Rajamouli, "Will you work with Mahesh?" for which our director replied, "Why not?" and then explained that they are supposed to work long back. In film industry it is common for many producers to give advance amounts to happening directors and heroes such that they will get their dates in the future quite easily. According to Rajamouli, he signed similar agreement with senior producer KL Narayana to make a movie with Mahesh. "Me and Mahesh are supposed to work for KL Narayana, but somehow we both are busy with our own commitment", said Rajamouli.

The INTERPRETATION:

This is now interpreted in almost all the media houses that Rajamouli is likely to work with Mahesh Babu after Baahubali is completed. Everyone has blown the things out of proportion saying that Mahesh okayed Rashi Khanna as a heroine for this subject and then he picked the story of a criminal lawyer for this film. It is being written that Mahesh is keen to wrap up his Brahmotsavam and finish another flick under Puri's direction such that he could start working on Rajamouli's film.

This is the plight of our media. Producer KL Narayana isn't making movies these days after he tasted huge flop with NTR's Rakhee. He is seen as presenter for Arya 2 and then not much production is happening from his side. Cine exeprts says, if KL Narayana seriously wants to pull a film with Mahesh and Rajamouli, it would have happened already.

Rajamouli: no Surya in Baahubali part 2

The Baahubali storm is fast approaching as the film is all set to hit the screens on the 10th of July amidst humongous hype. Even before the film’s release and the shooting for the second part was commenced, rumors of Tamil star Suriya being a part of Baahubali’s second part did several rounds in the media and got the fans excited.

However, Rajamouli finally cleared the air and said that Suriya is not a part of the film’s second part. With this, the rumors will have to come to an end. So far, nearly 40 per cent of Baahubali’s second part’s shooting has been completed and the unit will start shooting once again once Baahubali The Beginning releases.

Ticket cost of Baahubali Benefit show : Rs 4000 - Rs 8000

Only four more days left to witness the grand fireworks of India's biggest motion picture, Baahubali. The hype and craze around the film is phenomenal and the film, due to its release in record number of theaters in the Telugu states, ROI and in the US, is expected to shatter all the existing box-office records. Meanwhile, the advance bookings for the film have already begun and needless to say that the tickets are being sold like hotcakes.

On the other hand, numerous benefit shows are being held post the midnight on the 10th July. The first ever benefit show will be held in a Hyderabad based theater and the tickets are being sold at unbelievable prices. As per the buzz, the tickets are priced between Rs 4000 to Rs 8000 for this show and this still did not deter the craze among the fans, who are not thinking twice to buy the tickets and become the first lucky ones to watch the film.

Along with this craze, coming in a lot of criticism that the distributors are cashing in on the craze and that they are looting the excited fans. While it is understandable that the distributors, who bought the film's theatrical rights at exorbitant prices, wish to recover their investments by all means, selling the tickets at such huge prices is something the film lovers cannot fathom. Apart from the benefit shows in Hyderabad, talks are on in Karnataka to double the ticket pricing in the first week of Baahubali's release.

Prabhas need to be focused and energetic

Rumor mills are abuzz that Prabhas is going to do another movie before commencing shoot for Bahubali 2. However Prabhas cleared the air by saying that he has Bahubali 2 on the top of the priority list. Prabhas will take a brief break until September and will start shooting for Bahubali 2. He will not do any other projects in between.

Prabhas said that forty percent of the shoot for Bahubali 2 is already complete. He doesn't want to shift focus from Bahubali until he is done with the entire work. Prabhas said that other projects can wait as Bahubali needs him to be focused and energetic all the time. Rajamouli thought of completing the shooting part for both the volumes but was forced to release the first part as the makers ran into shortage of funds.

Rajamouli is making plans to release Bahubali 2 in July 2016, exactly a year after the first part hits the screens. He is planning to release it even bigger depending upon the response for the first part. Prabhas and Rajamouli will not move on to their next projects until they are done with the magnum opus.

Baahubali: Will police give permission for Royal rally on July 10th

To mark the arrival of Prabhas Varma as Baahubali and Sivudu on July 10th seems like his fans from native Bhimavaram are planning some exorbitant stuff. That includes a rally, which is first of its kind, as it looks more like a Royal Procession than just a rally by a crazy bunch of fans.

Reports are coming out that two elephants, fifty horses and 100 Royal Enfield bullet bikes along with nearly a thousand of Prabhas fans will be rallying on the roads of town on Baahubali release day. All this looks possible to organise, but what matters is the safety and security issue. With as many 50 horses and two elephants strolling on the streets, it will be tough to control the animal if something goes haywire. It will be a big surprise to see Police giving permission for this rally just in case.

Some sources revealed that police asked the organisers to limit their count to 5 horses and completely keep the idea of elephants aside in case they want to go ahead with the procession. Let's wait for more updates.

Akhil is in awe of Vinayak's movie making skills

Akhil Akkineni is easily one of the most popular star kids around today. He is making his debut with a mass entertainer that is being directed by V.V. Vinayak.

Shooting of this film is going on a brisk pace and the recent Thailand schedule has been completed successfully. Some of our unit sources reveal that Akhil is quite content with the way his film is shaping up and is in awe of Vinayak’s movie making skills.

The film’s first teaser which was out recently had a tremendous impact. Touted to be an out and out action entertainer, this film has camera by Amol Rathod and Sayesha Saigal will be seen as the heroine.

Ram in "Premam"?

Ram's miserable run at the box office has ended with Pandaga Chesko turning out to be a hit. He scored the much needed success after a hat-trick of flops. He is currently unstoppable with projects like Shivam and Harikatha on hands. Shivam will be released in September and Harikatha is likely to release by the end of this year.

Meanwhile he grabbed the Telugu remake rights of Malayalam blockbuster Premam directed by Alphonse Puthren. If the buzz is to be believed Ram's uncle Ravi Kishore bought the Telugu remake rights of Premam for a fancy price. We cannot expect Sravanthi Ravi Kishore doing this film with any hero other than Ram.

Ram's diary is busy until the end of this year. He may start working on Premam remake from January. It would be interesting to see who will wield the megaphone for this film as it is not easy for any director to recreate the magic of the original. Premam had Alphonse's stamp all over and it would be a tight rope to walk for anyone who takes up the job of remaking it.

Making video of Baahubali surprised everyone

Cinema lovers are always enthusiastic to see the behind the scenes videos of any film. Frankly speaking, Telugu movies haven't come up with brilliant making videos where we got to see the key technicians and actors talking about the film, giving insights and sharing experiences. Always our making videos are like shots compiled from on-location videos, but never any insightful.

Somewhat director Shankar's making videos of Robo and I are quite stunning as he gives details of what went to developing characters and on location to post production. But most of his making videos lack universal appeal as the speakers used Tamil language all the time. Fixing all these issues, Rajamouli has come up with a fantastic making video, where his technicians talk in English and they share every single of each crucial character and aspect of the movie.

To start with, Team Baahubali released "Sivudu" making video where Rajamouli, Prabhas and writer KV Rajendra Prasad share their experiences only in English. Not just Telugu audiences, but other state people in India and people from other countries will now feel happy to watch these videos for their universal appeal.

Sandeep Kishan on cloud9

Young hero Sandeep Kishan is quite excited these days. All his smiles have a reason as his latest movie 'Tiger' is doing well at box office. First of all we need to appreciate this talented hero because he has accepted a script that allows him into the story 30 minutes after the movie starts. These are the days where a debuting hero is also looking for an introduction song, but Sandeep has honestly stayed with his script rather going for extra elements in the name of mass film. Probably that honesty is paying off.

Wonderful efforts turn into fruits at box office, but the real happiness is felt when industry's best persons compliment us. Same thing is happening with Sandeep at the moment. He's getting calls from Tollywood's prominent celebs who are heaping praises on him for his massy performance. Especially two phone calls have excited this youngster and we know that one came from Stylish Star Allu Arjun.

Sandeep has got a call from mass raja Raviteja, as usual after two years, with the last call being done when this young chap scored a hit with Venkatadri Express. As usual, 'Tiger' got thrilled upon 'Bengal Tiger' calling him and appreciating. When the script is good, director is brilliant and actors do whatever required with out getting off limits, result will be like this.

Rajamouli: Mahesh is a Gentleman, he hasn't lost his coll

"It's not that we've feared Srimanthudu or Baahubali has scared Mahesh Babu like some foolish people are asking. It's for the well being of film industry. It's so gracious of Srimanthudu to go back", says Rajamouli, responding on the discussion going on in film circles as to why Srimanthudu has dropped from the race and got postponed to a new date.

Though makers of Srimanthudu have given enough clarity that they are requested by Baahuabali makers to give breathing space for the magnum opus, critics are not ready to believe. Owing to the request, Srimanthudu got pushed to August 7th from July 17th as Baahubali is hitting screens on July 10th.

"There was never like a fight or anything between Baahubali and Srimanthudu as heard in the media. We're always discussing about placement of these two flicks quite carefully such that no one will get loss. In case if Srimanthudu has come first, then we would have opted for a postponement", Rajamouli claims. He expressed uneasiness over media repeatedly asking even Mahesh Babu if he has feared and postponed his flick. "Despite media asking such questions, Mahesh is a thorough gentleman and he hasn't lost his cool despite of these silly questions. He spoke truth", the magnum opus maker added.

Talking about how results are going to affect anyone in industry, he asserts, "If these two movies perform well at box office, or too films are bad, or one among them is good and other one is bad, finally both the films will have to enjoy or suffer. Because years of hard work and crores of rupees are at stake". We do agree Rajamouli!!

Sivagami holds the nerve

Yet another powerful dialogue teaser has come from 'Baahuabli' now. Earlier we have heard to Prabhas uttering the words 'Nenu Evaru' and 'Jai Mahismathi' in his trademark style as the King Baahuabli. Later there is Rana coming up with an interesting one-liner from the movie. Finally it's the turn of Ramya Krishna, the powerful Sivagami, King's mother of Mahismathi kingdom.

It's a thunderous response from fans for the dialogue uttered by Ramya Krishna aka Sivagami in the new short-teaser of Baahubali: The Beginning. 'Eella Thirugubaatutho, Mahishmathiki Makili Pattindhi... Raktamtho Kadigey', she says quite vehemently. Going by the trailer we have to say that these dialogues ignite the spark in Sivudu to lead a big revolt on the ruling class of his kingdom. As Rajamouli calls her the epitome of justice, people are imagining quite positive side of Ramya's character. If thought otherwise, we could say Sivagami is on Ballaladeva's side. Her words also sound like an order to her own men to cleanse the revolution being led by Sivudu.

Whether it is positive or negative, Sivagami holds the nerve. Wait for July 10th to feel the vibes.

Get ready to witness Super Star Vs Gabbar Sing

This July 3rd, Telugu film lovers will witness a crazy little clash between the Superstar and Gabbar Singh. Before you jump into further conclusions, here's the news. This Friday, two small budget films, Superstar Kidnap and Gang of Gabbar Singh, are clashing at the box-office. Both the films are hitting the screens after a long delay.

While Superstar Kidnap is a stylish thriller based on a plan to kidnap, well, none other than the Superstar Mahesh Babu. In the film, three youths, played by Nandoo, Adarsh and Bhupal, resort to kidnap Mahesh Babu after all their plans to succeed in life fail. Whether these youths will finally manage to kidnap the Superstar is to be watched on the screen.

On the other hand, yet another long delayed low budget film, Gang of Gabbar Singh, featuring almost all the 'Gabbar Singh Gang' of the famous police station Anthyakashari scene fame have been cast in the film, along with Shakeela. The film is an out and out comedy and the makers are trying to cash in on the craze behind the film's title. There is a slight curiosity about these films among the fans of both the leading stars of Tollywood. Let us see which film will triumph at the box-office this Friday.

If Chiru misses, Allu Arjun will compete

Sankranthi is one of those biggest seasons for Telugu film industry as the holiday season will ensure that collections are maximised for any ordinary flick. For that reason, all biggies try to focus on this season for their releases. From last couple of years, we are witnessing the Mahesh Babu Vs Ram Charan duel at Telugu box office. It's no different for next year too.

For 2015, Pawan Kalyan's Gopala Gopala released all alone at box office with not much competition around. But in 2013 and 14, we have seen Mahesh-Charan clashing with their Seethamma Vaakitlo and Nayak, and then with 1-Nenokkadine and Yevadu. Once again, Mahesh confirmed that he will hit cinemas on January 8th, 2016 with "Brahmotsavam". So what about Charan? No, there is no film of this Mega Powerstar that could get ready by that time, while Sreenu Vytla's film releases in October 2015 itself. But it is earlier revealed that Megastar Chiranjeevi's 150th movie is likely to release for Sankranthi. The ambiguity still continues over this announcement, as the movie hasn't taken off yet.

Even if Charan and Megastar Chiru leaves or misses the Sankranthi slot, there is another mega hero who wants to compete with Mahesh Babu. He's none other than Stylish Star Allu Arjun. With Boyapati film likely to get rolled from July19th, we hear that 14/15th January is being confirmed as release date of the movie by producer Allu Arvind. So, get ready for another wonderful clash of titans.

Allu Arjun: It's really a great moment for me

Treading in the line etched by his seniors and fellow heroes, Stylish Star Allu Arjun has also decided to fulfil the wish of his kid fans, who are suffering from monstrous cancer. Today he met four kids who desired to see him as their last-wish, and it's a moment of emotional squeeze for him.

Bunny has spent time with four kinds, whom he met through Make-A-Wish foundation. "It's really a great moment for me to fulfil the wish of these kids who are battling for life. More people should encourage foundations like Make-A-Wish who are undertaking these kinds of programs", says Bunny. Talking about the kids, he said, "At this stage, it's important to impart self-confidence in them rather helping them medically or otherwise".

Earlier the likes of Pawan Kalyan, Jr NTR and Ram Charan have met kids who are on the deathbed and helped them recover a little. While the youngster Sreeja whom did Pawan paid a visit has recovered completely, unfortunately some other kids breathed their last.
