Ram's
miserable run at the box office has ended with Pandaga Chesko turning out to be
a hit. He scored the much needed success after a hat-trick of flops. He is
currently unstoppable with projects like Shivam and Harikatha on hands. Shivam
will be released in September and Harikatha is likely to release by the end of
this year.
Meanwhile he grabbed the Telugu remake rights of Malayalam blockbuster Premam directed by Alphonse Puthren. If the buzz is to be believed Ram's uncle Ravi Kishore bought the Telugu remake rights of Premam for a fancy price. We cannot expect Sravanthi Ravi Kishore doing this film with any hero other than Ram.
Ram's diary is busy until the end of this year. He may start working on Premam remake from January. It would be interesting to see who will wield the megaphone for this film as it is not easy for any director to recreate the magic of the original. Premam had Alphonse's stamp all over and it would be a tight rope to walk for anyone who takes up the job of remaking it.
