Pataas is teaching something!

Todays release Pataas is winning acolytes from all quarters.  As A-centre audiences are complaining about routine story, B and C-centre movie lovers are enjoying the antics of Nandamuri Kalyan Ram. Huge whistles and claps are being heard for comedy in the movie. That makes Kalyan Ram a winner this time. Just for a thought, what made this flick so interesting?

Kalyan Ram's toned body language, director Anil Ravipudi's intelligent narrative technics, MS Narayana and Srinivas Reddy's comedy timing and heroine Shruti sodhi's dance moves might hit your brain when you think about factors that made Pataas likeable. But the real reason according to movie critics is something else. Films like Aagadu, Power and Thoofan much earlier are all similar crop dramas. Those films however had huge expectations hanging on there head due to the presence of star heroes and thats why they bombed.

Coming to Pataas there are only 'Zero' expectations on Kalyan Ram, which proved its worth today. So star heroes should either lessen hype around their movie or pick something apart from the routine to score a hit. Thats the Pataas lesson.
