Couple
of days ago, there were rumours that NTR - Puri Jagannadh's film was put on
hold for some reason. The makers did not issue any clarification but silently
sent in a press note that the next schedule of the film will begin from
September 10th in Hyderabad. However our sources close to Puri Jagannadh say
there are indeed some problems with the film.
The
problem is that the story line of the film strangely coincides with that of the
story line of Kalyan Ram's next - Pataas. Both the actors will be seen as
Police officers in the respective stories. NTR is reportedly not very pleased
with the coincidence and is thinking on the lines of addressing the issue. Vakkantham
Vamsi has given the story for NTR-Puri project.
This
is the first time in Puri's career accepting a story from other writer and it
certainly has not gone well. Kalyan Ram 'Pataas' may release in December
2014 and Puri- NTR film may hit the big screens for Sankranthi the next year.
The similar story lines from a same family will certainly not do enough good.
Neno Rakam is rumoured to be the title of the film.
NTR
has pinned high hopes on this project as his recent films - Ramayya Vasthavayya
and Rabhasa flopped big time at the box office. He is hoping to make a strong
comeback with this project. NTR and Puri Jagannadh team up for a disaster
- Andhrawala some 10 years ago.
